Stop smoking or Stop to Smoke

Well both statements look simple, but grammatically, they have different meanings. Stop smoking means you decide not to consume cigarette anymore. Otherwise stop to smoke means you decide to drop by in one place and then you light the cigarette and smoke. It seems simple to say stop smoking, but in fact it is not easy to do so. We need some motivators and advices or even satisfaction to stop smoking. Most of smokers are men. I think it is about 70 % of men are smokers and about 30 % of women are smokers too. For smokers cigarette is everything, they can’t live without it; they thought that the cigarette is their friend when they feel sad or bored. One of the reasons why it is difficult is that because they are addicted. The nicotine inside cigarette gives the special effect for the user. Maybe one of the examples that prove stopping something is difficult is that the women who are not wearing veil, it is difficult for them to wear it. The reasons are that they are not ready, still shy and afraid of their hair. They thought that they will look more beautiful without veil on their head and sexier without long dresses. For the man smoking makes them cool and not left behind. They thought they will be more modern, stylish and handsome with the cigarette. In fact they are not; many women don’t like a smoker man.
When we walk around we will see the sign that is written “NO SMOKING” and it means we are not permitted to smoke in that area. But unfortunately why some people still ignore that sign. I think that sign is clear enough, or even kids can understand the meaning. Yup, especially in our country, people do not care about their environment. They smoke everywhere and throw the package or cigarette anywhere. The government has made and decided the rules for those who are smoking in public will be fined. But in fact people still smoke anywhere. So who should be blamed, the citizen or the government? The worse thing is that now days the smokers are not only old man or young adults, but also kids in elementary school are trying to smoke. The reasons are that they imitate their parents or maybe curious about the cigarette. Whatever the reason is the cigarette and the smoke are really disturbing.
Smoking causes some effects. Here are some disadvantages that we can get if we are smoking: you will spend much money, you will get some dangerous diseases such as Heart attack, cancer, bad breath, stained teeth, wrinkles (more, sooner than nonsmokers) and problem with the pregnancy. Smoking is not cool but is FOOL. The nonsmokers don’t like kissing with the smokers. The benefit of smoking is nothing. So for you who is still smoking until now or maybe you are smoking while reading this journal, please stop. I know it is not easy, because I’m a smoker too. But I used to smoke when I was in high school. I try to stop now, even it is really difficult. Until now I could reduce my habit to smoke. It was about 85%. Now I just continue to reduce and minimize my habit until zero percent. I hope it will be succeed. Based on my experience people who is not smoking not always be the non-smoker forever, in fact one of my friend. He didn’t smoke when he was in high school but now he is a smoker. What a funny!
So I suggest you, for those who are not smoking, please not to try and smoke. And for the smokers you have to reduce the number of your cigarette step by step. Reduce smoking is better than doing nothing. But stop smoking is still the best thing to do!
I’m sure that if you have intention and strong willing to stop smoking, it will be easy. Do not give up before trying. People say “it’s a piece of cake “. I try to share some tips that I ever did to stop and reduce smoking, and Alhamdullilah it works. Here they are:

The tips to reduce your habit on smoking.
1.Think that you burn your money while smoking.
2.Think that tomorrow you will be sick if you are smoking.
3.Think that you will be avoided by your friends if you are smoking.
4.Replace your cigarette with candies or lollypops.
5.Do fasting every Monday and Thursday or maybe everyday.
6.Chewing bubble gum as many as possible until tired.
7.Do many activities and forget the cigarette.
8.Avoid friends who are still smoking and tell them not to force and offer you cigarette
9.Bring enough money to eat and buy gasoline or cost your transport only.
10.Go to hospital and visit someone who is sick, then thinking about your health more often would be better.
11.Reduce your cigarette by only smoking once in a day, then once in a week, then once in month, then once in a year, then once in your life, then not at all..

Those are the SIMPLE tips, but I wish it could be VALUABLE and USEFUL. I do not guarantee that you will stop smoking directly after trying and reading this journal. Be your self and just keep your health, because being healthy is the most valuable thing in our life. Maximize your time and your energy to do the right things and always do the best. Don’t forget to share this journal to everyone you know. Say no to cigarette and do not allow our next generation to smoke. Don’t let them become a smoker. Stop now, Remember not stop to smoke but STOP SMOKING. We must stop smoking.
